What Type of Student Are You?

Laura Lima

Every class has its mix of personalities, there is always one who's always ahead of the game and the one who barely remembers there was homework but somehow manages to pass all exams and classes. Some other students focus more on academics and others balance school with sports, social life,e or creative projects. If you ever wonder what kind of student you are, this list might help you. If you are still unsure if you are that kind of student, make sure to do this quiz, my friend and I created.

  1. The Overachiever:

This student always puts in extra effort. They complete assignments ahead of time, actively participate in class discussions, and are used as a role model in the class. This student always aims for the highest grades possible, their work is always the best possible, often exceeding expectations. A great example of an overachieving student is Hermine Granger (from Harry Potter) who takes school extremely seriously. She studies in advance, follows all school rules, always comes prepared for classes, and goes above and beyond in everything she does.

  1. The Last-Minute Procrastinator:

This is a type of student who tends to delay assignments until the deadline is near but always manages to finish on time. Even though they work well under pressure, they often find themselves rushing through talks at the last moment. While they promise to start earlier next time, it rarely happens. Peter Parker (Spider-Man) is a perfect example of a procrastinator, he is smart but always needs a balance between his school, his personal life and superhero responsibilities means he's always rushing to meet the correct deadlines for all his assignments.

  1. The Social Butterfly:

Always in the middle of every conversation, this student knows everything about everyone and is never out of the loop. They balance school with an active social life, attending parties or events, making plans, and keeping up with all the newest trends. Even in class, they're often passing gossip notes, chatting with friends, or even planning what to do or where to go after school. Regina George (from Mean Girls) represents this kind of student perfectly, she is always in control of everything, everybody knows her, and she is never out of the spotlight.

  1. The Sleepy one:

No matter what time of the day it is, this student always looks tired like they need a nap. Maybe they stay up too late watching videos, texting friends, or even playing video games, or maybe they just find school exhausting and boring. They're the ones struggling to keep their open during lecture times during class, leaning on their hand to stay awake. Shaggy Rogers (Scooby-Doo) is the ultimate sleepyhead, he's always tired, always hungry, always yawning, never in a rush to do anything, and is always ready to take a nap.

  1. The Teacher's Pet:

This student genuinely enjoys learning and always wants to impress their teachers. They sit in the front row, raise their hand for every question, and often go beyond what is required just to prove their dedication to school assignments. A character that fits in this role perfectly is Lisa Simpsons (The Simpsons), she is very intelligent, responsible, and always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and impress the teachers even more.

  1. Class Clown:

The student can't resist cracking jokes even in the middle of a serious lesson. They love making people laugh and are always finding ways to entertain their classmates. While their humor can lighten the mood of the class, it can also get them into trouble if they take it too far. This student is always running between classes, practices, and games. Their schedule is packed, and they have to manage their time wisely to keep up with schoolwork while staying dedicated to their sport. Their confidence in their ability to make things work at the last second.
