The talent show hosted during the Minas MUN event at EABH was a success and entertained the viewers.
Introducing the Talent Show:
This Saturday, February 25th, during the Minas MUN event at EABH, a talent show was introduced and hosted to entertain the Delegates, Press, Chairs, and all of those present. The Talent Show did not only enthrall the audience but was a way for everyone to perform their hidden talents. Laís Taranto and Vitor Suzster were the event's judges and they would give scores based on the participants' presentations. Whoever got the highest score would receive a special prize later on. Many people from EABH and different schools participated, and even our advisor Claudia Gomes!

In the end, the judges summed up their scored and decided which group would win a special prize. The winners were Thuptim Appleton and Isabela Camargos for their performance of "A Whole New World"; their final score was 18.6/20.

There were 17 total participants in the Talent Show!
As part of their chair dares, Giovanna Muzzi and Lucrezia Rima sang "Hello" by Adele and their total score was 9.9/20 (enfurating Lucrezia).
Next up was Claudia Gomes, citing a poem she learned when she was a little girl with a waterfall sound in the background. Her total score was 16.8/20.
Later on, Giovanna Muzzi, Larissa Ragonesi, Tatiana Chen, and Anabella Delgado performed "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield, obtaining a total score of 15.4/20.
The next performance was presented by the senior girls: Thuptim Appleton, Isabela Camargos, Lucrezia Rima, Luiza Ribeiro, and Isa Taranto. They sand "Just Give Me a Reason" by P!nk and recieved a score of 15.8.
Next, the leaders of the MUN Conference, Isabela Camargos and Thuptim Appleton sang "A Whole New World" from the movie Aladdin. They had an an amazing performance and looked like princesses, which is why they obtained the highest score of 18.6/20!
Next up was the entire Secretariat, which contained 12 participants: Isabela Camargos, Thuptim Appleton, Vitor Suzster, Tatiana Chen, Giovanna Muzzi, Lucrezia Rima, Larissa Ragonesi, Anabella Delgado, Julia Rocha, Darlene Mukasa, Laís Taranto, and Luiza Ribeiro. They sang "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys. Since the judges were also performing, there was no score.
Following, the Santo Antonio Students performed "Baby" by Justin Bieber and they received a total score of 13.3/20.
The Press Team, Mariana Camargos, Luiza Ribeiro, Helena Rocholi, Bruna Rice, Larissa Ragonesi and Darlene Mukasa, also went up to present. This group performed "Dancing Queen" by ABBA. They obtained a score of 12.1/20.
Then, the EAB students sang "Believer" by Imagine Dragons. They gathered a final score of 9.2/20.
Isabela Zayers and Wilson Molinari gave one of the funniest performances of the show. They sang "Careless Whisper" by George Michael and, despite generating laughter amongst the audience, received a score of 10.5/20.
The next group included every student from Santo Antonio singing "Marry You" by Bruno Mars and, in the end, gathered a total score of 15.2/20.
Afterwards, Mariana Camargos, Bruna Rice, Helena Rocholi, and Gabriela Muzzi sang "End game" by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. This group gained a total score of 16.2/20.
Next up were the Colegium girls singing "There's Nothing’s Holding Me Back" by Shawn Mendes. The group gathered a total score of 16.8/20.
Later on, six girls sang "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. After the presentation, the girls gathered a total score of 17.4/20.
Next up was Wilson Molinari and Isabela Zayers performed once more to redeem themselves from their last score. They sand "Farmer Refuted" from the Hamilton Play and obtained a final score of 17.1/20!
Later on, Darlene Mukasa and Helena Rocholi sang "Barbie World" by Aqua, but were interrupted in the middle of the song because inappropriate wording started to show up. But they still scored 14.5/20.
Lastly, Wilson Molinari and two EAB students sang "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars and got a total score of 15.1/20.
The Talent Show was a great way to disperse the tension from the debates and created hilarious and memorable moments.
