BH on Ice returns to BH Shopping!
Year after year, the iconic shopping mall brings back the incredible ice skating experience in our very own Belo Horizonte! Complete with a large ice skating rink and a wide array of equipment included, the experience is guaranteed to be a fun adventure!
The 380m² rink is located on the Ouro Preto floor. It was installed in November 2021 and will remain there until March 2022. Thousands of visitors will come to the grandest shopping in the capital each year in order to participate in this annual event. You could be one of them!
Anyone is eligible as long as they fit the criteria established by the administration. Due to COVID-19, only 35 people will be allowed on the rink at the same time. Both children over the age of 6 and adults are welcome to skate, but children from the ages of 2 to 5 are still allowed to join in on the fun, as they can go for a ride on the Iceland Car: an extremely safe vehicle on skates guided by professionals. The sessions range from 30 minutes to an hour.

I myself have so many amazing memories ice skating at BH on Ice all throughout my life. Hopefully you will check it out and make some incredible memories with your loved ones as well! When I was younger, I used to go ice skating with my cousins and my brothers every season. Although none of us were very skilled at it, it allowed us to participate in a fun activity together while trying something new. Afterwards, there was always something for us to enjoy. Whether it was having a snack at the adjacent food court, seeing a film currently screening at the cinema, or simply just looking through the glass panes of stores and shopping with our eyes.
