On April 2nd, the EABH gym was filled with spirit, pride, and nostalgia as students, teachers, and athletes gathered for the final pep rally of the 2024–25 ISSL season. With volleyball and futsal teams heading off to their last tournament of the year, this rally was especially meaningful for the class of 2025, marking their final celebration.
The celebration opened with a short speech from Mr. Jaison, who proudly recognized the success of the Knowledge Bowl and MUN teams during their recent trips.
As the music echoed through the gym, athletes rushed into the cheers of the crowd. Team captains eagerly introduced themselves and their teams. Their enthusiasm was evident, as they were off to their last tournament.
The middle school cheerleaders were up next, providing a high-energy routine that lit up the gym. Their school spirit was contagious and impossible to ignore.
One of the most anticipated moments came during the Sitting Volleyball game: Teachers vs. Athletes, where the athletes won twice in a row despite the teachers' best efforts.
What followed was a surprise that left the whole gym silent. Student Council Reporter Clara Ribeiro presented a touching tribute video to the seniors. As the screen lit up with scenes of practices, games, and lifetime memories, the gym shifted from laughter into tears. The seniors smiled through tears, while others hugged their teammates as they recalled this would be their last time representing the Hawks at ISSL.
The event ended on a high note, as all athletes joined together at center court, jumping and chanting one of EABH’s iconic cheers.
With heart and spirit, the Hawks are ready to represent EABH in their final ISSL games
