Today, the EABH Hawks took on The British School URCA Falcons in a match that showcased their determination and fighting spirit. However, they were missing a key player, Pedro Jorge (2), who was injured due to the basketball game earlier. The Hawks got off to a bad start, as they were already at a disadvantage right from the beginning when the Falcons scored within the first minutes.
Determined to recover lost points, the Hawks fought hard, but injuries continued to affect them. Luiz Gomes (9), and Mathieu (11) also got injured, but this didn't stop them from continuing to attack. Though fighting tirelessly, the Hawks couldn't break through the Falcon's defense.
During Halftime, the captain Pedro Almeida (10) urged his teammates to give their all, and not give up on hope. Despite their effort and numerous attempts to attack, the match ended in favor of the Falcons with the result 1-0 and the Hawks didn't qualify for the semi-finals.
Although the result was not what they hoped for, the Hawks showed tremendous determination and perseverance. Looking ahead, they are focused on the next match, where they aim to secure the battle for fifth place.
